Recently I had the opportunity to work with Amy M Hyde as a realtor in the the sale of our home in Corpus Christi. It was a wonderful experience Amy not only advised us on how to prepare the house for the sale but also did the staging for the open house(view) that happen during a weekend getting immediately three potencial buyers; the sale was formalized 3 days later, inspections were done smoothly and she also help us with the fixings that were few and small and were promptly done to everybody’s satisfaction. Finally in spite of myself being 2100 milles away and with the help of an overseas notary the transaction was closed and signed. Nothing bud good accolades to this great Lady Amy M. Sometimes the best things are just meant to be... In the first half of 2023, we were expecting to complete the building of a new house and would therefore be selling the house we had been living in for over 30 years. We were out front of our house doing yard work one Saturday morning when this nice lady (Amy Hyde) came walking down the sidewalk. We struck up a neighborly conversation. It turned out she is a realtor, and we were going to need one in the next couple of months. So, when the time came, we gave Amy a call to interview her. We really liked her down to earth style, honesty, and competence. We engaged her services and worked with her as a team to establish the asking price for our home. She quickly scheduled and prepared our home for an open house. She kept us informed of all activity, responded quickly to requests and questions, and was very professional. We had an acceptable offer after the open house. Amy also helped us work through some paperwork errors on our roof windstorm certification to keep closing on schedule. We couldn't be happier with the service provided by our realtor, and now friend, Amy Hyde.

Amy was tremendously helpful in our search for our new home. Our search for our house on the coast was a long and lengthy process of about 2 years. During that time period, Amy was always there to provide us with information on different locations and showing us houses. Whenever we showed up to look at a house, Amy provided us helpful information on the house and the surrounding area. Amy always appeared happy to see us and enjoyed showing us houses all over the coastal area, even though most of the time it was on weekends. She worked well with the other realtors and homeowners to make sure the houses were available to be seen on our schedule. She never hesitated to go out of her way to get answers to all of our questions and do the research on all of the properties.Since it had been a long time since we had purchased a house, Amy was very patient and thorough in explaining the required steps, starting with the initial offer and counter offers. She was instrumental in guiding us through all of the inspections and the acceptance process. She also attended the closing and has since followed up to make sure everything was going well with our new home. Amy was always happy to go the extra mile and put in the extra time so we, as buyers, understood the process and were happy. We highly recommend Amy for anyone that is going through the tedious process of looking and buying a new home.

My father was house searching from out of state and Amy helped him 100% of the way. Since he was physically not here she did EVERYTHING that needed to be done from ordering inspections to finding the answers to the million questions my father asked of her. She went above and beyond what a normal real estate agent would do. Because she is not a normal real estate agent. She is an EXTRAORDINARY agent! My father just drove in from out of state and into his new house and Amy was checking on him to make sure all was going well. So sweet. She is an amazing person and we would 100% recommend her! We were first-time home buyers and Amy was a God send. When we explained what type of home we were looking for she explained all aspects of the current market that we would have to understand going forward, this information she provided was vital for when we found a deal we were interested in. When a property would come across the market that we liked she was very responsive in providing the comps for the property and getting us the seller's disclosure. She would also follow up quickly with us to view the property in person and this is where she really impressed us with her attention to detail and knowledge of the area she would point out details of a home that we would have surely missed. Her opinions on the property would be honest from identifying red flags or things that be negotiated and it truly helped us decide on the right home because she not only thought of us getting a home quickly but getting us a property with value and very little to no major maintenance that could blindside us in the future. So when we found the home we loved she truly exceeded our expectations, using her experience and knowledge she advised us on every inspection to have completed from which she negotiated a deal that impressed us and was accepted. Amy Hyde stepped up to the plate when I had a last minute request for some real estate consultation while visiting Corpus Christi from out of state in March, 2020. She provided an overview tour of the city, stopping to see several listings. The day after I returned home, my state and Texas, along with many others, initiated their pandemic shut-downs. Amy promised to keep me apprised of listings and options for whatever time necessary while health policies sorted themselves out. She stayed in touch throughout our wait to begin in person again. As I reactivated my search, Amy was there for me, providing patience, diligence and extensive information. When I found a townhome that interested me, she arranged extra visits for my family. When I had questions, she found out the answers. And she maintained a professional approach throughout the process. I came to Amy from out of town and completely lost - I was a clueless first-time buyer with a pre-approval letter and a dream. I heard her name through the grapevine and called her in the middle of the day. Being in the midst of a bunch of other life changes (graduation, new job, and all the requirements that come with those activities), I was ready for another menial to cordial business conversation - but what transpired was beyond my expectations. Amy was immediately warm and friendly. She was a most welcome respite from the drudgery of my other daily interactions, a reminder that even in the business world, kindness can still exist. Such a breath of fresh air. She had an endless amount of patience for my slew of questions and odd requests. I had no idea what I was doing, and in this insane housing market, that can be a very vulnerable position, but she made me feel safe. She guided me and my husband through the ENTIRE buying process, and was present for every little detail. She inspired absolute trust in us, we felt like we could relax knowing she had our back. She fought for us to get the best buying conditions, and went out of her way to get offers in as soon as humanly possible, even at the expense of her personal time. She was always available, and incredibly responsive to communication. She showed houses as soon as we could get an appointment. In fact, because she was so prompt getting appointments to see houses, I credit her with our getting the house we got - we were the first ones in and the first ones to make an offer. Look, if you're looking for a realtor, look no further. Amy will have your back. If you're serious about buying a house but worried about working in this stupid seller's market, work with Amy - She will get you that house. Amy saved us from a lot of heartache and trouble, and helped us find our beautiful home. We are SO happy. When we move in the next 5 years, I will 100% be seeking her out to help sell our house. We threw some curve balls at Amy when selling our house. There were a few things that made the sale difficult: it was an old house that needed many repairs and trash disposal, the house was in my late father's name, I am POA of my mother, and I live in another state. Some of the paperwork was a little tricky. Although Amy did not know the answer for everything, she was very quick to find the answer and really used her resources to find answers. She always responded promptly to phone calls and text. Amy was very good at communicating, even when the title company failed to communicate multiple times. She was very quick to getting answers from the title company, when they were unresponsive to me. Amy even handled things that I don't think were in her job description but it made my life and stress much easier to handle, especially since I was 1000 miles way from the house. I knew I could count on her to get the tasks done. I would highly recommend Amy.
